CAD Mechanical Drafter — Custom Water Treatment Equipment Anyone
About the job
We design and build custom water treatment systems — RO skids, control panels, EDI systems, pump skids — from our shop in Venice, Florida.
Our lead engineer defines what gets built. We need a drafter who turns that direction into accurate, shop-ready drawings: fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, piping layouts, and equipment arrangements with dimensions right the first time.
Typical tasks: take sketches, markups, and engineer direction and produce precise 2D drawings; maintain title blocks, revision control, and drawing files; update for as-builts and shop feedback.
Experience needed; strong AutoCAD (2D) skills, ability to read P&IDs and redlines, experience with skid/structural/piping fabrication drawings, and an eye for detail. SolidWorks and water treatment experience are a plus. 2+ years preferred.
