Quad Industries / Snell Manufacturing is seeking an experienced HAAS CNC Programmer for contract, remote-friendly programming and production machining support. Our Bradford, Tennessee plant is a precision manufacturing operation focused on bearings and related machined components.
Scope of work:
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for HAAS mills and/or lathes.
• Develop and support CAM toolpaths, setup sheets, tooling plans, and clear operator instructions.
• Write and troubleshoot G-code for HAAS controls; verify work offsets, tool changes, feeds, speeds, and safe machine motion.
• Support production machining, first-article work, setup optimization, cycle-time improvements, and quality-focused process troubleshooting.
• Review engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and inspection requirements; coordinate with shop and manufacturing personnel as needed.
• Communicate clearly with the Bradford, TN production team using remote collaboration tools; occasional plant coordination may be requested.
Required experience:
• Demonstrated HAAS CNC programming experience in a production machining environment.
• Strong G-code and HAAS control knowledge, plus practical CAM experience.
• Ability to program from drawings/models and deliver reliable, well-documented, shop-ready programs.
• Experience with precision machining, tooling, workholding, feeds/speeds, and quality inspection.
