About the job
We're a precision machine shop (ALC Engineered Solutions) looking for a CAM program for a single part: a plate machined from 6061 aluminum, to run on a Haas VF-2 (40-taper, 3-axis vertical machining center, Haas control).
Scope of work:
Program a finished, verified CNC part program (Haas-format G-code) from our 3D CAD model (STEP file available upon request to shortlisted bidders)
Quantity: 1 (single part, no tight tolerances — standard features held to ±.005", nothing more demanding than that)
Provide a setup sheet with work offset, tool list (tool numbers, descriptions, holders), and stock/fixture assumptions
Be available for a brief call or message exchange during first-run troubleshooting if the program needs adjustment on the machine
What we'll provide:
3D CAD model of the part (STEP format), available on request once selected
Material and stock size
Open to the programmer's recommended toolpath/tooling — let us know what you plan to use
Deliverables:
