About the job
Our company manufactures truck campers and motorhomes and we have 3 motorhomes that need a major CAD overhaul. We work in Autodesk Inventor and are progressively moving into the Autodesk Vault space. Our assemblies consist of 2500+ parts, split between off-the-shelf parts and "fabricated parts" (raw stock that receives saws/CNC operations). There is not much complex modeling required. The work is mostly generating iParts, filling out iProperties, some 2D modeling (3-axis CNC patterns, holes, etc), and creating assemblies. These efforts are part of our larger goals to move everything into Autodesk Vault and also drive consistency between our CAD ecosystem and ERP system.
