Position: SolidWorks Designer / Interior Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Design interior components such as furniture, partitions, doors, ceilings, wall panels, cabinets, and custom fixtures.
Prepare accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintain material specifications.
Convert design concepts into practical and manufacturable designs.
Coordinate with the interior design, production, and installation teams.
Modify drawings and designs according to client requirements and site conditions.
Ensure designs meet dimensions, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
Review drawings for accuracy before sending them for production.
Maintain proper records of drawings and revisions.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
Understanding of furniture/interior fabrication and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and assemblies.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience in interior, furniture, architectural, or fabrication projects will be preferred.
