We are seeking experienced Materials Scientists / Engineers to contribute to an advanced AI engineering project focused on improving AI capabilities in materials science and engineering.
The role involves evaluating complex materials engineering problems, assessing AI-generated technical responses, developing technical scenarios, and providing expert feedback to improve AI reasoning and performance.

## Key Responsibilities

## Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering with materials specialization, or Chemical Engineering with materials specialization.
* 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience preferred.
* Knowledge of metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites.
* Experience with failure analysis, materials testing, or process development.
* Knowledge of SEM, XRD, TEM, DSC/TGA, metallography, or fractography is a plus.
* Familiarity with ASTM, ASM, or ISO standards is preferred.
* Manufacturing or materials process development experience is a plus.
## Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in technical problem creation or evaluation are encouraged to apply. This may include textbook or exam problem writing, standards committees, technical competitions, research publications, conference awards, fellowships, or other recognized materials science achievements.
## Compensation
$80–$130/hour equivalent.
Compensation is output-based and paid per completed task that meets project requirements. Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.
## Start Timeline
Candidates should be available to start immediately.
Selected candidates are expected to begin their first tasks within 24–48 hours after completing onboarding.
