RealBlanks is seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to develop a precision-machined product from an initial concept through production-ready files.
The project requires functional mechanical design, accurate 3D parts and assemblies, and fully dimensioned 2D manufacturing drawings. The engineer should have strong experience with CNC-machined metal components, threads, fits, tolerances, material selection, GD&T, and design for manufacturability.
Final deliverables will include editable source files, STEP files, assembly files, and complete production drawings. The selected engineer may also assist with prototype revisions and manufacturing feedback.
This project could lead to substantial ongoing work. Please include examples of comparable functional mechanical products you have developed for CNC production.
