About the job
We are designing the production enclosure for Chiguru, a compact smart plant-watering timer device. We have functional prototype electronics, a solenoid valve, and a DC pump. We need an experienced mechanical product design engineer to design a sleek, production-ready enclosure that packages these internal components cleanly, resolves internal fluid/vibration fitment, and is optimized for plastic injection molding (DFM).
Candidate Requirements:
Proven track record in consumer hardware or IoT enclosure design.
Demonstrated portfolio showing Plastic Injection Molding DFM (please attach 1–2 previous enclosure projects).
Strong understanding of electromechanical packaging, fluid routing, and snap-fit/boss screw joint mechanics.
Project Timeline & Engagement:
Estimated duration: 5–7 days for initial assembly and fitment verification.
Fixed-price or milestone-based engagement.
