Product Designer Needed to Create an Innovative Magnetic Product Anyone
About the job
I’m looking for an Industrial/Product Designer to develop a new and original consumer product based on a specific technical constraint: I currently have over 100,000 neodymium magnets in Ø13×2 mm and Ø13×1 mm sizes.
At this stage, I do not need final CAD files. The first phase will focus on research, ideation, and the development of 10 product concepts in which the magnet plays an essential role in the product’s functionality.
The concepts should be commercially appealing, primarily manufacturable using FDM 3D printing, and, if possible, have the potential to evolve into an expandable product system or product line.
Once the best concept has been selected, we will move forward with industrial design, prototyping, and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
