About the job
We are looking for an experienced mechanical/CAD designer to develop a custom IP67-rated enclosure for a battery-powered LoRaWAN IoT device.
The enclosure will house:
Main PCB: 40 mm × 32 mm
Forte ER26500C 3.6V Li-SOCl₂ battery: 48 mm × 25.6 mm
Internal flat antenna
External ultrasonic sensor
The product uses two different ultrasonic sensors, and we require one common enclosure design with a simple modular sensor mounting arrangement so that either sensor can be accommodated. This will help reduce tooling and inventory costs for our planned quantity of approximately 1,000 units.
The enclosure must achieve a strict IP67 rating and should be suitable for outdoor applications such as smart dustbins, municipal water tanks, drainage monitoring and smart parking.
The enclosure should be designed using an appropriate outdoor-grade material such as Polycarbonate, ABS/PC or ASA, with suitable provisions for gaskets/O-rings, seals and fasteners.

Complete 3D CAD enclosure assembly
STEP/IGES files
2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions and tolerances
Assembly drawings/exploded views
DFM recommendations specifically for plastic injection molding
BOM recommendations for gasket, O-rings, seals and fasteners
