For Project: Shoe Shine Box
#4 ShineBox_1 by jnatzic
Hi,
Here is a very rough design of the shoe shine box. It would still need a lot of work done to it if you think it is worth moving forward. Let me know what you think about the overall design and shape of the box. I was thinking of adding some "tip out" drawers to hold all of the stuff that needs to fit inside.
i look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,
Jake

I was thinking more of a drawer that slides open when pressed. I also want the rotating table andcarrying handle to be flush with the box when not in use. You can incorporate the handle into the table.

As for the compartments, are you thinking of something like a drawer where it slides out when pressed or more like a door that swings open when pressed? Or something else?

Your entry is the fourth submission I have received and the only one that is right on track. This is, by far, the best design of the submissions I have received.

I wanted to provide designers with a basic overview of what I wanted and allow them to use their creativity to design the box. So far, you are the only one that is heading in the right direction.

As opposed to "tip out" drawers, I was thing of something on long the lines of frictionless spring loaded compartments, so they are flush with the box and when they are pressed the compartments open. I know this would require more engineering, but this is a premium product.

Should I continue on with this design or come up with something else?
