I do have some more inspiration for your designs. Search Google for "Biomechanical". This more organic and flowing style is something we like, but with sharp edges mixed in to contrast.

One other thing to view is this photostream for ideas, it's very futuristic and cool looking 3D graffiti; http://www.flickr.com/photos/19122318@N07/

Have a great day!

Very cool. I think the latest one will be a design we go with. Can you create an account on shapeways.com and upload the file? Their preview software will show you if it meets their requirements and if any of the pieces are too thin. From what I can tell it should work fine, but it's better to be safe and double check.

Thanks!

Another good design! I like your imagination on these future styles. I think if Darth Vader smokes he will use your design too! :D

Very good idea with the cap piece so it looks like a necklace when not being used.

Can it be done without the hinge though? I don't think such a small detail would work with the 3D printer. Maybe it can just slide on to the top of the lighter with a tight fit?

Thanks again, it looks very cool!

I think with the middle we can print a separate small piece to attach them where they join in the center like in the first submission. Would look really neat at night glowing for sure!

Thanks

ok sir, thanks for your feedback i will check and revised my design to fit in the standard size, may i ask sir? my concern is that with that in my design at the middle ,that six tritium vials, if they are in the standard size, is it possible to put in that way?

Looks cool.

The tritium vials can't bend and need to be placed into the case after it is printed and secured with a clear glue. So ensure they are the standard sizes listed in the contest and it can work well.

I like how you added the diamond plate metal texture to it as well so it's interesting to feel and look at.

Thanks!

maybe its possible in a flat surface sir, i just based it in the hands of some watch, that it glows during at night.

Very cool! On these designs, are the tritium vials mounting on a straight surface?

If they do glue in from the back side before sliding the lighter in, it's perfect.

Thanks for your creativity!
