What do you think about this two piece idea? It should allow the tritium to be easily installed then the inner piece can be permanently fastened to the outer piece somehow; brazed, welded, adhesive, etc. This uses 20 3.0 x 22.5mm and 10 2.0 x 6.0mm tritium vials.

How he has some of the cells just carved and not cut out entirely, can you do that to the first layer of cells on the outer shell, eliminate the smaller trit sticks in the inner sleeve and use those to extend the base like mentioned above?

Duuuude! I was just thinking how dope that 2-piece design would look with the Tritium holder being printed in their clear frosted plastic. Would cause the details around the shroud to glow as well.

Another thing I think would look cool is extending the base of the case by inserting Tritium vials for columns and adding another stainless bit to the end for design sake. Does that make sense?

Skills dude! Thanks for coming up with the multi-piece design. It opens up a lot of possibilities.

I like everything but the outer shell, the overall shape is too simple and the design elements aren't working for me.

Now if you make the outer shell take on the previous design elements and add additional, similar, geometry - we'll probably be looking at a keeper.

Nice, what you did with the additional geometry behind the tritium sticks, do it in front of them instead but in a less light restrictive and more organic fashion. As it is now there would be no way for me to mount the tritium sticks. They're unable to handle them at Shapeways for legal reasons.

Extending the case up like that definitely improves the flow of the design.

Still desiring more details. You could fill in the cells with a fractal of the same or totally different geometry to create a mesh look.

Very nice start again, proving you understand my ideas well.

For this project we have to go nuts with the details. It's just going to be printed once or twice for me and/or my bro to wear at parties and events to help promote our business.

After looking into a lot of stuff for sale on Shapeways I don't see there being a budget problem. Even with the Tritium vials. Just go nuts and let's see what looks sick.

I'd buy that case there though if it were a simple gas station product, would prevent people from stealing my Bics, tired of that ish.
