Smart Bracelet - CAD Designer Contest for New Product
Smart Bracelet, first version of the concept
Thu, 27 Jun 2013 13:24:24 +0000
Ok so as I understand it, the top part is hollow and you can pass the electronics in and out every time!
Is the upper part made of the same material as the lower part? Because the general idea is that the band can be thrown away every time it's used, so it's shouldn't be to expensive for organizations to replace it.
Maybe two versions can be made? One for personal use, exists of one (HQ) part and a version for events the bracelet exists of two parts and the band is cheap enough to be replaced every time.

The model is a revision of a model that I had already created for a similar reason, the top may occasionally be removed, but I preferred to leave it as the original because you can use the cavity of the bracelet to pass the electronic connections of the PCB, but I can correct it. The basic structure is asymmetrical to give a touch of design, size is studied by some time may contain the need for a device that functions identical to yours.
I was already preparing a further modification, but I did not lose much time.

Thank you for your design.
I have a couple of questions:
1) Is the electronic part detachable?
2) If it is, how can it be detached?
3) Is the upper part asymmetrical?
I like the your logo, but what I had in mind was that the outlines of the logo would be some sort of a LED notificator. (without adding any colors to it maybe? What ever you think is best!)
