#14 Super Light-weight Cushion by PETER LAKATOS
Hello
This is my second entry,
I this product could be made from molded plastic and covered in a soft layer of material. It should be cost efficient and easy to make and super light weight! Please see the attached pdf for details.
Also, here is the 3d model to spin around and view https://skfb.ly/IwLx
Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter - Thanks for this second entry! It is really sleek, definitely a fun, original design! I'm currently debating the pros/cons of a fixed cushion design, which would almost certainly be less costly to produce, versus a more adjustable device that could accommodate both the variations in sizes of women and in sizes and types of chairs. Any thoughts? Thanks for this modification! By the way, I do like the idea of a chair, that is a neat design too, I'm just not sure if there's enough demand for this in general. But I'm keeping it in mind, and like the idea. Thanks!
Lory

Hello
i also want to add that this model allows the user to lean forward together with the padding if necessary.

Hello
thank you for the feedback,
I did this model to start from somewhere :) and to work on it until it becomes the product you need.
I wanted it to look modern, soft, and with no sharp and pointy edges.
I did the model really quickly, to show you my first thought on how i understood the brief, also the option of having a product , like a stand alone chair that could be used in modern hospitals, and places where it is always needed.
I will convert it into the product that would fit on chairs.
I am glad you give feedback , many clients do not and that is not helping the creation process, :)
I will soon enter the new model.
Kindest regards
Peter

This is neat! That's definitely the right concept. But could you put that into an existing chair? Or is it meant to be a separate, stand alone chair? I'm not sure that a whole chair would be as desirable as something that could just be put into an existing chair. Like if it could modify or fit into an existing rocking chair or fit into a car, that would be really great.
