The material should be be a rigid and child safe resin suitable for an injection mold process. (ABS?)
Many different colors will be required.
I will need at least 6 units for each prototype. I expect the first production to be 500 but production runs of 1000 to 10,000 are possible.

Sorry. Not enough detail for the snaps. the male side will need to firmly snap in to the female side similar to how a Lego toy works.
