Description:
We are a new venture specializing in the creation of dual sided hair care products. Our first product is a double sided shampoo-conditioner bottle. The product is eco-friendly and saves money and space compared to buying separate bottles of shampoo and conditioner. We are looking for a concept/prototype design in 3D. We have attached a product design sketch and photos describing the two sided bottle and twist caps.
Wants:
We want a 12 oz. cylinder shaped bottle with a slight hour glass shaped design. The Shampoo portion of the bottle will be separated by the Conditioner portion of the bottle by a hidden plastic disc in the interior. The shampoo portion of the bottle will be a royal blue gradient - darker at the top and becoming lighter towards the middle. The conditioner portion of the bottle will be a grass green gradient - darker at the top and becoming lighter towards the middle. OR, WHATEVER COLOR and STYLE LOOKS BEST. The caps on both sides will twist. When you twist the cap, a small hole in the middle opens up to pour out the product (see pictures). We want a printer ready file to create a product prototype. Any additional ideas and label design are encouraged. We are open to any and all ideas re: the best way to bring the product to life.
Don't Wants:
Un-manufacturable designsComplicated
No childish look
Hard plastic (needs to be somewhat pliant)
Software:
- Autocad and Rhino3D. And the 3D file must be in STL, or stereolithographic file format, for printing

1) shape of this model has more space for display
2) see through portions can be added on plastics or both plastic portions can be see through
3) both lids have conical shape inside for smooth transition of shampoo & every drop can be used
4) I'll work on look and feel of model farther if you like the design

Hi,
This is the solution that I was thinking about. But as I was implementing it I realized that it is kind of a complicated design. The ideea was that the cap shoud only rotate 180 degrees and not translate along the bottle axis (the same as the first design).
Assembling: slide the stopper (yallow piece) into the bottle neck then snap the cap onto the bottle: there are edges that keeps the cap and bottle assembled.
How it works: as you twist the cap the two lateral pins of the stopper follow the inner thread of the cap and the stopper goes up and down. In the upper porition it blocks the central hole of the cap. There are "clicks" to assure the cap is aligned with the bottle.
Note: I think that the classic solution is the best way to go: twisting cap that will screw/ unscrew - closing/opening the hole at the top.
I will model this version too and I will upload all three versions so you can have them and test.

Hey Kaelen,
I just submitted my design and I want to explain it a little bit. As you can see from the images there are two bottles assembled like lego pieces. The bottles are identical so only one mold is needed. I designed it taking in account that it should be possible to manufacture by blow molding. Another advantage is that the individual bottle can stand up by itself on it's base. The two bottles are held together by the sticking labels. The label surface is cilindrical so the label adheres well to the bottle (no need for thrmoelastic label).
The opening/closing mechanism is very basic: two eccentric holes that can be aligned by twisting the cap 180 degrees. I just thought of a better solution (that is less prone to leaking) and I can implement it in the final design but only if you're interested in the general looks of this design.
If you like it I can provide STEP/ IGES files as well as CATIA (v5r19) source files and the vector design of the label (AI, EPS)

Hi, do you accept CATIA cad file?
Thx Adam,
Based on what I have learned from you and others, the requirements will be somewhat different. We will create 2 bottles and connect them together at the middle, which addresses the internal disk and I will use a heat affixed label to address the color of the bottle.

Bottom line, even if design feasibility existed, packaging costs would be so high that market price would be out of reach. It would be like Willy Wonka trying to sell chocolate bars made in the section of the factory where the golden geese eggs were produced.
Additionally, even if the technology existed to blow mold a component with a dividing wall, the requirement for dual colors in a single or multiple cavity blow mold would be an additional challenge that is not currently available as a manufacturable possibility, let alone a "color fading" effect as what is being defined in the design scope.
As a long time designer in the plastics industry, you cannot manufacture what is being asked for. A blow molded bottle cannot have a "dividing" wall as what is being requested with current blow molding technologies (defined as a "dividing disc" in your design scope). While the idea is wonderful, it's not feasible with any design unless it's multiple blow molded bodies / injection molded components either mechanically joined together or otherwise, and at that point product packaging would out weigh marketplace competitiveness for a product of this type. If this was feasible, it would have been done long ago, and there would be numerous other packaging products on the market with similar design traits (e.g. laundry soap dispensers with detergent and fabric softener in a single packaging unit). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Design a Toy Organizer Concept
We are an e-commerce brand, we develop and sell all different types of product for home or office organization
We are looking to design a toy organizer and should include the below
1. Shelf for books.
2. Large and small plastic boxes for toys with covers and without covers.
3. a closed closet to be able to lock up some toys.
Macbook Pro case design
The case will be 2 parts. A top and a bottom. We'll use this design as the basis for a case we plan to manufacture. See attachments for dimensions and measurements.
The design should be able to easily scale to fit both the 13" and 15" models, but the 15" is our priority.
You must have a retina Macbook to determine the exact curve of the case and to make sure there are holes on the sides near the bottom for the vents (http://images.anandtech.com/reviews/mac/rMBP13/DSC_8944.jpg)
These cases are both similar to what we're looking for:

Stylish Case for a Car Key
We are looking for some concept sketches for a key case.
An innovative key case design which can hold a typical car key (attached picture). The case itself should be able to fit on a key ring.
The key should be completely hidden inside the case until the case is opened (by some creative means or mechanism) to reveal the key, either in whole or part – at least, so the user can press the buttons on the key itself.
We are looking for a high-end, upscale design, which combines smooth-functionality with luxury and desirability. A pleasure to look and feel, a pleasure to simply hold in your hand. A status object and a pleasure to use, again & again - perhaps damped - with an extremely desirable finish, perhaps piano black, brushed steel or rose gold ... following an interface design associated with the modern iPhone-types. However all design finishes will be considered.
Self-heating Tumbler Design
We are a new venture specializing in the creation of Self-Heating Tumblers. Our tumblers (travel mugs) are quality made with precision and self-heat themselves by the press of a button. The button initiate a reaction inside the tumbler chambers, causing the interior to heat up.
We are looking for a concept/prototype design in 3D. We have attached design specifications and photos describing the product.
