Description:
We are holding a design contest to create an innovative new Donkey Calf Raise machine. While many existing models are available, they often feature unappealing aesthetics and overly complicated components. Our goal is to craft a sleek, modern, and futuristic design that stands out visually, is easy to manufacture, and is highly durable. The new machine must support up to 1200 pounds (544 kilograms) and be plate-loaded to accommodate Olympic weight plates.
We are looking for creative, functional designs that break away from traditional Donkey Calf Raise machines. The focus is on enhancing calf training through a distinctive appearance, improved ergonomics, and an elevated user experience. Ultimately, we want a piece of equipment that not only performs exceptionally but also redefines the look and feel of calf training machines.
Please see the link below for a video demonstrating how to use a Donkey Calf Raise machine.

Wants:
• The Donkey Calf Raise Machine should be plate-loaded and compatible with Olympic weight plates.
• The machine should incorporate a 400-pound selectorized (or pin-loaded) resistance system featuring a built-in, vertical steel plate stack for quick weight adjustments via a selector pin, along with additional rods capable of accommodating Olympic weight plates.
• The Donkey Calf Raise Machine must support a maximum load of 1200 lbs (544 kg).
• Provide a non-slip platform to place your feet to perform the exercise
• Provide a place to rest your elbows and hands while performing the exercise.
• Design should be visually striking and modern, making it stand out within a gym environment.
• Incorporate innovative features that enhance user comfort, safety, and exercise effectiveness.
• Construct the machine using durable, high-quality materials suitable for commercial gym use.
• Include adjustable components to accommodate different user sizes and preferences.
• Ensure a space-efficient footprint without sacrificing stability and safety.

Additional Information
• Submit design stress analysis to verify the machine’s capacity to support up to 1200 lbs. (544 kg).
• Include the company logo on the product (refer to the attached AI and JPG images).
• Emphasize the unique and innovative aspects of your design.

Design considerations:
• The machine should facilitate donkey calf raises with proper support and alignment
• Incorporate safety features to prevent injury
• The padding that rests on the lower back should be at an angle and curved to fit the user. See the attached images. (Padding_1,2,3)
• Consider ease of assembly and maintenance

Submission guidelines:
• Final design submissions should be: 3D STEP file, engineering drawings with dimensions, and 3D high resolution renderings.
• See the attached image of a typical donkey calf raise machine. I want the new design to look much better

Entry 19 is my original design. It's possible he got it from Onshape, as I tested exporting the design's step format with Onshape to ensure it didn't break.

Designers, please see the attached Copied Design PDF. Do you think the original design was copied? Please give me your feedback.

Designers please be creative. Everyone is designing the Donkey Calf Raise machine with the same padding attachment. If you look on the internet, this design is widely used. I want something unique and different.

Should each part be designed and assembled separately, or do you prefer that all components be designed and assembled as a single integrated unit?

Hi

Interesting brief but the scope vs. prize ratio doesn't work for me — FEA, STEP files and engineering drawings deserve proper compensation.

I wanted to know if you have a particular selectorized/pin-loaded weight subassembly in mind and if you could provide a link to 3D models for that subassembly or point me to that manufacturer? Thanks!

Designers, please see the attached DCRM (Baseplate and Padding) STEP file. The features on the top of the Baseplate need to be removed to suite your design.

Design Improvement of Drip Bucket Holder for Pellet Grills
Attached video shows current design, how it works and desired improvements. Images show the current products being used to catch oil drippings. This product is designed to magnetically attach to the side of a pellet grill just under the oil drip spout to hold a foil drip can liner in place as the grill is running reaching very high temperatures. The current working model is functional but needs to be fine tuned to include smaller or collapsible way of being smaller for packaging purposes. My company is called MANFOOD CERTIFIED and it is all about bringing useful grill gadgets to outdoor cooks. This gadget should be low profile simple to use and most importantly make changing the drip bucket oil liner clean and easy.

Fun adult toy collection design
I am looking for 2-4 products in a collection for a new adult toy branded launch. The winning designs will be put forward to our retail customers for selection. Rabbits, bullets, small toys, handheld massagers, external stims, wands... are all welcome, please just get creative and have fun... as that's what they are for!! I would like to see 2-4 product designs per collection, using a similar design look, so they can be launched together. but this is not 100% necessary, as 2-3 different Rabbit designs would also be great to see, as they can be launched as a collection with different internal functions (functions and tech will be decided by our customers after they choose external designs) Multiple entries are welcome!!
