Mr. Cad Designs, that is correct. The user will have the chest rest to lie his chest on that platform. The user will not lean on the rear platform because he will be standing up pretty straight to use the machine. I do want to note that this machine needs to include 30 degree tilting options for position variation. The top front platform should be able to tilt upward and downward 30 degrees as well as the other supports that I showed in the initial drawing. I will upload one more rough drawing to help clarify. Please let me know if there are additional questions.
Hi Kieron, I do not want a standing leg curl machine. I referenced that machine to give you designers an idea of what these types of machines look like. This design is for standing leg extensions.
Creative Paul, the thing on the right is the housing for the leg lever mechanism. There won’t be a dedicated seat for this design since it is a standing use machine. Imagine standing up, leaning you chest on a table with peg handles to grab onto, while taking one leg and bending it upward to lock into the shin pad support beam/foot roller to then perform a leg extension. The peak of the exercise would result in the keg being fully extended as though you were standing normally, except one leg will have a load from the weight and the other leg would be resting for support.
Rajuk, I will draw a better photo and upload. However, I will need design assistance to help with the smaller details including the pulley and foot roller. I will do my best to give you a good place to start.
Hi Sachin, I understand my drawing doesn’t help much but I don’t have any professional working photos yet. The design itself should be similar to a standing leg curl except this will be a standing leg extension machine. Also, the drawing of mine includes a stick figure man who is using the machine. There was prior confusion about this, but I will try to draw a better version and upload for reference. Thanks.
Hi pjfabrizio
this is a standing leg extension machine.. right? So the user will always rest his chest on the chest pads on top & wont ever lean on back right ?
We need more details. I think I&;m getting the general idea but some info is missing. Is that little thing on the right a seat or a pair of foot supports?
Do you have any reference images of this machine, I think the attached photo is not sufficient to understand your requirement and the working of the machine, if you have any working video or photo then please share them in chat or comments.
