Weld Neck Flange

Hello network! 👋 Today, I want to share a fun milestone in my learning journey. I recently finished designing a Weld Neck Flange using Autodesk Inventor! ⚙️ For those outside the engineering world, a flange is simply a strong ring or collar used to connect pipes together safely so they don't leak. In this practice project, my goals were: 🔹 Building an accurate 3D model from scratch. 🔹 Creating a clear 2D technical drawing (blueprint) that is easy to read. 🔹 Using a "Section View" (the sliced image in the middle) to clearly show the inside thickness and details. I am still a beginner in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and I realize I have so much more to learn. However, I truly enjoy the process of turning concepts into detailed drawings, and I always pay close attention to the small details and standards. I am highly motivated to keep growing my skills. Currently, I am very open to remote freelance opportunities or entry-level projects where I can contribute my best while learning directly from experienced professionals. 💻✨ To the senior drafters and engineers out there, I would love to hear your feedback on my drawing!
