About the project About the project: Designed a robust, outdoor-rated electrical distribution panel enclosure (500x500x500mm) using SolidWorks Sheet Metal. Key aspects of the project include: Ingress Protection (IP65): Engineered with a continuous rubber sealing gasket and precise door-to-frame tolerances to ensure complete dust-tight protection and resistance against heavy rain and water jets. Sheet Metal Fabrication & DFM: Applied optimized 2mm sheet metal thickness, precision K-factor calculations, and standard manufacturing processes (CNC laser cutting, press brake bending) for seamless assembly. Internal Layout: Integrated modular circuit breakers (100A main breaker and sub-breakers) inside a clean, functional layout with a secure key-locked door mechanism.
