Ed is a wall plasterer who came to me with a rough working prototype of his concept for a more versatile wall knife. Wall fixer is two wall knives in one. The notched edge of the blade spreads plaster or joint compound to the correct thickness. The blade is then flipped for finishing the material. The handle consists of two of the same part that nest together to form one solid handle that can withstand the pressures of overmolding its rubber outer surface. This reduces manufacturing and part costs.
