VMX 5-Axis Machining Center Design and Validation

Contributed to the structural redesign and modal validation of Hurco’s VMX series 5-axis machining centers, focusing on enhancing frame rigidity, vibration damping, and overall machine performance. Conducted finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate static and dynamic behaviors, ensuring optimal machine stability. Assisted with prototype assembly and alignment verification for the IMTS 2018 demonstration. Collaborated closely with the motion control team to fine-tune UltiMotion®, optimizing surface precision and cutting accuracy for improved production efficiency.
