Two-Component Junction Box and Mold-Oriented Product Development
This project involved development of a two-component electrical junction box and preparation of production-oriented CAD geometry.
The design was created with consideration of component interaction, assembly logic, manufacturing restrictions, and mold-oriented product geometry.
The work included:
• Development of the main product components
• Analysis of component fit and assembly
• Definition of functional interfaces
• Wall and transition geometry review
• Consideration of injection-molding requirements
• Verification of manufacturability
• Preparation of editable CAD geometry
• STEP model preparation
• Integration of the model into the project documentation
The engineering objective was to produce a functional and editable product model rather than only an external visualization.
The resulting geometry can be used for further mold development, design refinement, manufacturing analysis, and technical documentation.
