Tunable-White LED Controller for Backlit Stone Samples (GPI Design)
GPI Design ships backlit onyx and LED panel samples to architects and designers. The off-the-shelf RF remote controllers they used had to be cut apart and rewired for every panel type. I designed a replacement: one knob for brightness and color temperature (2700 to 6500K), a small OLED readout, and a 4-pin Micro-Fit lead that works with both the 12V and 24V panels they sell. Two-board design: a 2-layer main board with the driver and a microcontroller, and a black ENIG PCB that doubles as the lid with the gold artwork on it. The enclosure is 3D printed and the screws hide underneath. Schematic, PCB layout, Fusion assembly with zero interferences, assembly-ready fab files and the cost sheet.
