THEWALL BIRD Mobile Office Series | Technical Development & Global Commercial Visuals

Overview The Wall Bird is a sophisticated mobile divider system within the "Wall" Collection by Orea AG (Switzerland). I served as the Lead 3D Designer, responsible for the technical realization and commercial visualization of the series. My 3D assets and exploded-view illustrations currently serve as the primary visual communication tools across several official platforms, including THEWALLShop and Impact Acoustic AG. Technical Realization & Commercial Visualization A key challenge of this project was developing a modular 3D framework that could support a wide range of material finishes and functional variations: THEWALL BIRD Foot Base: Jointly developed the iconic base geometry with Hans Winkler. I translated the initial structural intent into a refined form that houses the Gross+Froelich caster system, which was later structurally finalized by Orea’s engineering partners. Commercial Material Logic: I developed high-fidelity renderings to showcase the series in diverse finishes, including wood-optic exteriors and sustainable acoustic materials by Triboo. These assets are featured in collaboration with Impact Acoustic AG to demonstrate the system’s acoustic versatility. System Communication: I designed and rendered a series of four specialized exploded-view illustrations used globally to communicate the assembly logic for THEWALL BIRD, Wall DIY Kit, Wall Professional, and Wall Basic kitchen systems. These illustrations serve as the "Source of Truth" for customers navigating the modular ecosystem. Packaging Concept & Visualization: Developed the initial packaging logic for the Bird metal caster system, focusing on secure transit protection and minimalist unboxing aesthetics for the end-user. Technical Deliverables 3D Modeling: Comprehensive development in Rhino to ensure 1:1 visual accuracy for marketing and technical guides. Exploded View Illustrations: Strategic visual breakdowns for THEWALL ecosystem used on THEWALLShop. Material Integration: Visual prototyping for collaborative partners including Impact Acoustic and Triboo. Accreditation & Professional Context Project: "THEWALL BIRD" for Orea AG. Concept Authorship: Hans Winkler (Hans Winkler Design). "Bird Foot" Development: Joint conceptual development by Hans Winkler and Michael Riley.
