Taipa House — Cunha, SP

Countryside residence inspired by traditional Brazilian construction techniques, reinterpreting taipa architecture through a contemporary approach. Elevated on a stone base, the house adapts to the natural terrain while protecting the structure from ground moisture and enhancing ventilation. The project combines natural materials such as earth, wood, and stone, creating a warm and durable architectural language. Generous roof overhangs and simple volumes reinforce climatic performance and connection with the rural landscape. The result is a minimal and authentic dwelling that balances vernacular identity with modern spatial clarity.
