Steering Wheel | Mechanical & Surface Design

This steering wheel was modeled to demonstrate the integration of ergonomic geometry with mechanical design principles. The project combines aesthetic surfacing, structural features, and realistic material representation within a fully parametric SolidWorks environment. The outer rim was generated using Sweep features following a closed guide path, while the hub and spokes were developed with revolved and extruded operations. Smooth transitions were achieved through strategic fillets, ensuring geometric continuity and a clean feature hierarchy. The model remains fully editable for ergonomic adjustments or product customization. Beyond creating attractive 3D models, I focus on engineering-driven CAD development. My academic background in Mechatronics Engineering enables me to understand the interaction between mechanical components, manufacturing constraints, and functional performance throughout the design process.
