Structural analysis and design check of a steel silo for a manufacturer: shell, roof, hopper, support frame, access stairs and platforms, and foundation. The manufacturer STEP model was converted into an analysis model and checked with modular finite element analysis (Altair SimSolid) to EN 1991-4 / EN 1993-4-1, delivered with a clear calculation report.
