Snap-On Interchangeable Kitchen Utensil Handle | Mechanical Product Design & CAD Engineering
Designed and engineered a modular kitchen utensil handle featuring a compact snap-on locking mechanism that enables multiple utensil heads to be securely attached to a single ergonomic handle.
The objective was to create a reliable quick-release system that provides effortless attachment, secure locking during use, and easy one-button removal. The entire mechanism was designed from scratch, including the internal locking cartridge, spring-loaded release system, handle assembly, and mating utensil interface.
Special attention was given to manufacturability, assembly, durability, component clearances, and user ergonomics, resulting in a practical design suitable for prototyping and future production.
