SLOT60 Camera Mount - Guided Clamp & Retention Study

An independent mechanical CAD study of a compact camera mounting system, developed around a guided plate, side-operated clamp and retention feature. The assembly, exploded and section views show how the sliding interface, clamp components and fasteners fit together. The work focuses on editable geometry, assembly access, clearances and a readable part structure. Created in FreeCAD with part and assembly models, technical views and STEP/STL exports. STEP exports were checked by re-importing them into FreeCAD. Fasteners, threads and the spring use simplified geometric envelopes. Design status: digital concept study. Printed parts are intended for fit and handling trials; structural capacity and long-term retention require physical validation.
