Sheet Metal Forming Die - CAD/CAM, CNC & Heat Treatment (Graduation Project)

Graduation project (Excellent grade): designed a sheet metal forming die in SOLIDWORKS and automated the design with a VBA macro that generates punch, die and fixtures from input parameters. The K110 tool-steel die was machined on a CNC milling machine, heat treated at 1000 C with oil quench and tempering to 58 HRC (hardness tested), then tried out on a 40-ton press producing the finished part.
