Roller Conveyor System

This project focuses on designing an efficient roller conveyor system tailored for industrial use, emphasizing a compact and high-performance motor solution. Starting with a requirement of 2.45 N·m torque at 1909 RPM (with a 5 N·m safety margin), the design process involved analyzing power needs, selecting a custom Sinotech/ARC Systems 0.75 kW AC induction motor, and evaluating the WEG 7518EP3ESS56CFL as an off-the-shelf alternative. The project integrated engineering calculations, torque-speed optimization with VFD compatibility, and a focus on minimizing motor size (down to a 56C/71 frame) for space-constrained environments. The result is a robust, efficient conveyor system ready for real-world application, complete with CAD models and technical documentation
