Conceptual design to transform a vacant lot into a multifunctional community center in a residential subdivision in Guanajuato, Mexico. The goal is to enhance daily community interaction, provide proper infrastructure for bazaars, workshops, courses, and celebrations, and increase the social and economic value of the area.
Key features:
Wooden and metal pergolas for natural shade and cross-ventilation.
Exposed brick, decorative block, and apparent concrete walls for durability and local aesthetic.
Urban artistic murals on facades to foster community identity and color.
Native vegetation integration (jacarandas, lavender, succulents) for low water use and biodiversity.
Open areas with benches, planters, and accessible pedestrian circulation.
Efficient parking and vehicle/pedestrian access.
Vertical LED lighting for nighttime use and safety.
Modular and scalable design using local materials, focused on sustainability and low operational costs—ideal for neighborhood associations or municipal governments. High-quality day/night photorealistic rendering to fully communicate the vision. Personal project aimed at addressing real needs in growing communities.
