Raspberry Pi 5 NAS - Concept

Raspberry Pi 5 NAS Concept Design A compact and modern NAS enclosure concept designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5 ecosystem, focusing on thermal efficiency, accessibility, and clean industrial aesthetics. This project integrates a dedicated front ventilation system combined with a rear-mounted 40ร—40 mm exhaust fan to optimize airflow and effectively dissipate heat generated by the SSD or HDD during continuous operation. The Raspberry Pi 5 itself is equipped with an independent heatsink and active cooling fan, ensuring stable thermal performance under heavy workloads. The storage system features a quick-access SSD retention mechanism, allowing users to easily remove or replace drives without complicated disassembly. To further enhance usability and maintenance, the top cover utilizes a smooth sliding mechanism that provides fast internal access while maintaining a minimal and refined exterior appearance. The overall design emphasizes: ๐Ÿ‘‰ Efficient thermal management ๐Ÿ‘‰ User-friendly storage accessibility ๐Ÿ‘‰ Compact space-saving architecture ๐Ÿ‘‰ Functional yet premium industrial styling Developed as a 3D product design and mechanical concept for manufacturing-oriented applications, this project demonstrates the balance between practicality, serviceability, and modern hardware enclosure aesthetics.
