Precision Lifting Stage | Design and Structural Analysis
Developed a ball-screw lifting stage around a 50 kg payload and 200 mm travel, with component selection and a detailed SOLIDWORKS assembly. The structural model follows load transfer through 17 solid bodies and 70 bolt connectors. Predicted results include 0.1015 mm maximum resultant displacement, 71.6 MPa peak local stress at the upper bearing mounting and 1409.583 N base reaction. The report combines assembly views, native stress and displacement contours, component checks and bolt assessment. A 15.3% displacement variation between meshes defines interpretation as a design-stage stiffness and load-path assessment. Positioning accuracy, power-loss holding and physical qualification form separate validation stages.
