Designed a multi-part plastic enclosure intended for electronic components with internal PCB mounting features.
The design includes structural ribs, screw bosses, and mounting supports developed for strength, dimensional stability, and manufacturability. Proper draft angles and wall thickness control were applied to ensure suitability for injection molding.
Focus areas included:
• Internal structural reinforcement using ribs
• PCB mounting and fastening layout
• Snap and screw-based assembly strategy
• Manufacturable plastic design (DFM principles)
• Component fit and assembly alignment
This project demonstrates practical experience in plastic enclosure design, internal component packaging, and injection-molded product development.
