This project is a precision-modeled Planetary Gear Assembly (epicyclic gearing) designed for high torque density and compact power transmission. The assembly was developed using SolidWorks and consists of four main functional components:
1.Sun Gear: The central input gear that drives the system.
2.Planet Gears: A set of multiple gears that mesh between the sun and the ring gear, distributing the load evenly.
3.Ring Gear (Internal Gear): The outer track that provides the final reduction or serves as a stationary housing.
4.Carrier Assembly: A robust sub-assembly that holds the planet gears in place and tracks their orbital motion.
The model is fully constrained in a .SLDASM file, ensuring realistic mechanical movement and proper gear tooth engagement. This design is ideal for applications in robotics, automotive transmissions, and industrial heavy-duty machinery.
