Planetarium, Museum of Natural Sciences, Tirana

Master’s thesis project developed at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, Polytechnic University of Tirana. The project proposes a Planetarium and Museum of Natural Sciences as a new educational and cultural destination for Albania and the Western Balkans. Located in the suburban area of Kashar, Tirana, the design integrates science education, astronomy, environmental awareness, tourism, and public engagement. The architectural concept draws inspiration from nature and sustainable development principles, creating a landmark that strengthens the relationship between people, science, and the natural environment. The project included site analysis, urban integration, architectural design, visualization, and sustainability considerations.
