This portfolio entry combines my work on the NETTORO intelligent cleaning robot platform with a selection of other industrial products from my early and mid-career projects.
NETTORO Cleaning Robot
NETTORO is a networked floor-cleaning robot developed with Hanool Robotics. I worked as the lead industrial designer on the exterior and packaging design, building on an existing synchro-drive chassis. My role covered:
- Defining the overall body architecture on top of the drive platform
- Integrating sensors, front service console, and access points into a coherent enclosure
- Balancing manufacturability (plastic parts, assembly strategy) with a friendly, approachable design language
- Supporting pilot prototype builds and field trials for a government-backed project
This project showcases system-level packaging for service robots, including real constraints from mechanics, electronics, and cleaning hardware.
Additional Industrial Projects
Alongside NETTORO, the collage includes multiple industrial and consumer products for different clients, such as:
- Automotive dashcam and factory terminals
- Robot vacuums and educational quadruped robots
- Ophthalmic diagnostic equipment housings
- “LUMI Pad” AMOLED portable organizer (Grand Prize, Samsung SDI competition)
- A compact cocktail machine and precision vise tool
- Branded glass bottle packaging for a soju line
Across these projects, my contribution typically included:
- Concept development and industrial design
- 3D CAD for plastic housings and mechanical packaging
- Basic DFM considerations for injection molding, machining, and assembly
- Visual refinement and presentation-ready renderings for client decision-making
This collection is intended to show the breadth of my industrial design experience across robotics, medical devices, tools, and consumer electronics, and how I approach enclosure design and system packaging for real manufacturing processes.
