Mechanical Component Design, FEA Analysis & CNC Manufacturing
Designed a critical component for an FRC robot climbing mechanism under strict requirements for strength, weight, space, and manufacturability. I managed the full development process, including CAD modeling, FEA validation, and CNC manufacturing. Using Autodesk Inventor, I created a parametric design, optimized the geometry for stiffness and weight reduction, verified performance under expected loads, and machined the final competition-ready part on a CNC mill.
