Reverse-Engineered Makita Screwdriver (Swappable Bits) | Full CAD Assembly
I reverse engineered a Makita-style manual screwdriver with a swappable bit mechanism and rebuilt the product as a complete, fully constrained 3D CAD assembly. The goal was to capture accurate external geometry, internal packaging, and key interfaces so the model could be used for fit checks, design iteration, and manufacturing-style documentation.
Highlights :
Full assembly structure with major subcomponents (housing halves, bit holder/adapter, trigger/switch area, fasteners/features).
Parametric modeling approach to keep critical interfaces editable (bit interface, housing split line, etc).
Clean mates and logical naming to make the assembly easy to navigate and modify.
Note: This is a reverse-engineering practice project for portfolio demonstration; no affiliation with Makita.
