Loft Door

The customer's objective was to develop a prototype of a loft door for subsequent mass production, leveraging existing capacities and capabilities for implementation. In aligning the product's production with available resources, I opted to construct the door frame from 1.5 mm steel, employing laser cutting and bending techniques. The door itself was fashioned from standard 30x30 mm square pipe, utilizing 3 mm thick steel sheet for the door leaves and 6 mm thick glass, securely mounted alongside a 10x10 mm pipe. For each CNC-related process, I meticulously crafted programs tailored to the specific equipment requirements. Additionally, in response to the customer's preferences, the model accommodates both standard door hinges and concealed AGB hinges, complemented by an AGB Mediana Evolution lock. Ultimately, the prototype demonstrated its effectiveness, leading to its integration into production alongside partitions of a similar nature.
