Laser Thermometer: Teardown to CAD
A university project in reverse engineering by teardown, without a scanner. I stripped a laser thermometer down to its electronics and measured every component. Then I designed a new ABS/PC housing around them for injection moulding. Ribs, bosses and snap fits locate each part, and the housing splits into three moulded bodies.
You get: a six-sheet A3 drawing pack with a make-or-buy parts list and KeyShot renders.
