Laser Defense Turret (Body Assembly)

TEKNOFEST 2025 — Air Defense Systems. The Laser Defense Turret is a dual-laser targeting system designed to neutralize aerial threats. As the project's Mechatronics Engineer, I led the full development cycle. This is the body assembly, part of the robust 3D-printed and CNC-machined structure housing the high-precision optical alignment mechanism, which achieves 0.04° convergence accuracy for the co-aligned 8W blue and 1W green dual-laser system. The turret sits on a CNC-machined steel base with distance-sensor feedback for real-time target tracking.
