Interchangeable Kitchen Utensil Handle & Snap-Lock Mechanism
A modular kitchen utensil system developed around a common interchangeable handle with a custom snap-on locking mechanism. The concept allows multiple utensil heads to be securely attached and detached from a single handle.
The project involved 3D CAD modeling, mechanical mechanism development, component integration, assembly design, and visualization. The handle incorporates a wire-based locking system with indexed sections and a sleeve interface designed to provide controlled engagement with the interchangeable utensil heads.
The final CAD assembly demonstrates the complete system with spoon, slotted spoon, and spatula configurations, focusing on functional interaction, clean component integration, and manufacturable product geometry.
