Industrial Conveyor Structural Adjustment & Fabrication Drawings

This project involved solving a real industrial assembly issue during the reuse of an existing conveyor system. During installation, the conveyor was found to be misaligned due to an existing ramp, creating an unintended cantilever condition and structural imbalance. This caused instability during assembly and risked long-term operational problems. An engineering assessment was performed to analyze the field conditions and structural behavior. Based on this analysis, a simple, efficient, and fabrication-oriented solution was developed to correct the alignment and eliminate the cantilever effect while preserving the existing structure. The final deliverables included clear 2D fabrication drawings and an assembly schematic, allowing fast implementation on site with minimal cost and downtime. This project highlights practical industrial engineering focused on problem-solving, constructability, and reuse of existing assets.
