In-Pipe Pico-Hydraulic UV Disinfection System

Designed an innovative in-pipe pico-hydraulic turbine prototype used to power UV disinfection systems within water networks. Engineered the axial turbine blades and internal components using SolidWorks based on dimensionless design charts. Created a cross-sectional assembly to optimize fluid flow and energy harvesting efficiency inside the pipe. Developed as a freelance project integrating renewable energy for microbial water quality management, resulting in a high-fidelity 3D prototype ready for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis and physical testing.
