This project involves the design and detailing of a hydraulic unloading block intended for use in industrial hydraulic power packs and accumulator-based systems. The unloading block is designed to automatically divert pump flow to tank at low pressure once the system or accumulator reaches the preset pressure, thereby improving energy efficiency, reducing heat generation, and extending pump life.
The block integrates an unloading valve, check valve, pilot passages, and safety relief provisions within a compact manifold to minimize external piping and leakage points. The design follows clean hydraulic architecture, ensuring that pressure sensing, pilot control, and structural load paths are clearly separated.
