Hybrid Humanoid Robot - PA-CF & Aluminum Structural Design

Designed and engineered a complete humanoid robot featuring an advanced hybrid structural body. The architecture integrates high-strength 3D-printed PA-CF (Polyamide Carbon Fiber) components optimized for wall thickness, ribs, and infill to achieve the best strength-to-weight ratio, reinforced structurally with precision-machined aluminum plates for maximum rigidity under high torque and actuator stress. Key Engineering Highlights: Hybrid Body Architecture: Combines lightweight PA-CF 3D-printed enclosures with integrated aluminum reinforcement profiles to withstand dynamic loads. Actuation & Servo Integration: Engineered precise mounting and clearances for multi-axis servos, ensuring smooth joint movement and realistic torque transmission. DFMA Optimization: Designed entirely following Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) guidelines, accounting for material shrinkage, print orientation, and optimal wall thickness to cut production costs and print time. Complete Documentation: Delivered manufacturing-ready 3D models, assembly drawings, STEP files, and BOMs. Note on Visuals & Files: Please note that the images displayed are illustrative and similar representations only. Detailed internal assembly files, original CAD data, and proprietary production records are strictly omitted from public view due to an active Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
